One night at a party in 1981\, he discovered the reality of the resurrected Jesus Christ. During the evening\, the Holy Spirit moved in his heart\, and he confessed his faith in Christ to everyone present\, none of whom were believers. In the time that followed\, Mark saw his entire family and many of his friends come to Christ. \nFor many years he was active in the church\, in evangelism\, and\, for a time\, in church planting in the UK. \nIn 1994\, he had a revelation of the Father’s love. Earlier that year\, at a James Jordan lecture at Bible College\, Mark had realized that he did not know God as Father\, even though he had been a Christian for 13 years! He saw that he knew the Father but had no heart connection with Him. This realization sparked a cry in his heart to know the Father intimately as “Abba.” Traveling to Toronto later that year\, he met the Father for the first time and experienced for the first time among many thereafter the specific love the Father has for each of His children. \nThis life-changing experience defined his life’s direction\, and he began ministering from this revelation shortly afterward\, both in New Zealand and internationally. Mark served as pastor of a multicultural church in Auckland\, New Zealand. For several years\, he also served in the Living Waters program\, which works in the area of ​​sexual and relational wholeness. \nIn 2007\, while in Hong Kong\, he reconnected with James and Denise Jordan. Hearing James again after so many years truly moved him. At that time\, he also had a profound encounter with the maternal heart of God the Father. \nIn 2008\, he felt led to join James and Denise Jordan and the team at Fatherheart Ministries in Taupo\, New Zealand. In 2010\, FHM asked Mark to become its Executive Director. Mark’s role as International Director ended in August 2021. \nIn 2022\, Mark launched  The Finding Home Journey Membership. This thriving international online community focuses on unique personal identity\, true growth\, and authentic brother and sister connection to empower members to “go where life is.” \nMark Head is considered a pioneer in the field of integrating spiritual truths into the details of our daily lives. \nEarly on\, he recognized the need to connect the powerful moments experienced at conferences and schools and translate them into a lived reality in all aspects of our lives.
