Who is Mark Head:

Mark was radically saved from surf and drug culture. One night at a party in 1981, he discovered the reality of the resurrected Jesus Christ. During the evening, the Holy Spirit moved in his heart, and he confessed his faith in Christ to everyone present, none of whom were believers. In the time that followed, Mark saw his entire family and many of his friends come to Christ.

For many years he was active in the church, in evangelism, and, for a time, in church planting in the UK.

In 1994, he had a revelation of the Father’s love. Earlier that year, at a James Jordan lecture at Bible College, Mark had realized that he did not know God as Father, even though he had been a Christian for 13 years! He saw that he knew the Father but had no heart connection with Him. This realization sparked a cry in his heart to know the Father intimately as “Abba.” Traveling to Toronto later that year, he met the Father for the first time and experienced for the first time among many thereafter the specific love the Father has for each of His children.

This life-changing experience defined his life’s direction, and he began ministering from this revelation shortly afterward, both in New Zealand and internationally. Mark served as pastor of a multicultural church in Auckland, New Zealand. For several years, he also served in the Living Waters program, which works in the area of ​​sexual and relational wholeness.

In 2007, while in Hong Kong, he reconnected with James and Denise Jordan. Hearing James again after so many years truly moved him. At that time, he also had a profound encounter with the maternal heart of God the Father.

In 2008, he felt led to join James and Denise Jordan and the team at Fatherheart Ministries in Taupo, New Zealand. In 2010, FHM asked Mark to become its Executive Director. Mark’s role as International Director ended in August 2021.

In 2022, Mark launched  The Finding Home Journey Membership. This thriving international online community focuses on unique personal identity, true growth, and authentic brother and sister connection to empower members to “go where life is.”
